ELECTROLYSIS - HAIR REMOVAL
What is Electrolysis?

Electrolysis is the removal of unwanted hair utilising inserting a fine probe into the hair follicle. It uses shortwave radio or direct current in hair follicles to stop new hair from growing. This procedure damages your hair follicles to prevent growth and causes existing hairs to fall out.
Types of Electrolysis

There are three types of electrolysis: galvanic (which chemically dissolves the follicle),
thermolysis (which uses localized heat),and blend (which utilizes both methods).
Who is it beneficial for?

It is suitable for all skin and hair types, including fine, coarse, straight, curly, and even ingrown hairs.
Blonde, grey and red hair can be treated.
Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Transgender individuals who are seeking permanent hair removal.
What areas can be treated?

Electrolysis can be used to remove hair from any part of the body, including the face, arms, legs, underarms, and bikini area

How do I prepare for a treatment?

4 days prior to treatment you can shave the area, as the hairs that will be visible on the day are actively growing and will then be at the best stage for electrolysis removal.
Do not wax, tweeze, or forcefully remove hair for 2-4 weeks prior or between treatments
How often do I need a treatment done?

KEEP UP WITH A REGULAR TREATMENT SCHEDULE.
There are over 5 million hair follicles on the human body all at various stages of growth; therefore, treating new growth as it appears, will result in a more effective treatment.
